Target identified

Decision’s been made, I’m aiming at the Melbourne marathon this year. Got an e-mail from the Sporting Spirit coordinator that was meant to motivate us all. It was very basically a message of encouragement, reminding us that if we intended to run the marathon in October, we ought to be running about 30 Kms a week at the moment. I am not! So, it’s shaken me out of my lethargy and am into it. The same e-mail outlined a number of kilometres suggested for the coming months as well, so I’ll use use that as a guide and devise my own program towards the marathon. Not sure what kind of time I’m aiming at, but it’d be great to do a bit better than the four hours I did on the great Ocean Road
